Cleanroom Unequal Steel Door

Cleanroom Unequal Double Door (also called asymmetrical split cleanroom swing door) is a cost-saving intermediate door solution between single leaf door and equal double leaf door, designed for passage widths of 1100mm–1400mm (too wide for single door, too narrow for full equal double door).

It adopts an asymmetrical two-leaf layout: one wide main door leaf (900mm standard width with handle & lock for daily personnel walk-through) + one narrow auxiliary leaf (300mm fixed auxiliary panel, only opened temporarily for trolleys, carts, medical beds and large material transfer).

All surfaces adopt GMP flush seamless sanitary design without dust dead corners, full airtight sealing system to stabilize cleanroom differential pressure, widely installed in cleanroom buffer zones, gowning room exits, production corridor material transfer passages and weighing booth front airlocks.

Main Structure & Sanitary Material Composition

1. Door Leaf & Frame Materials

Two mainstream material grades matching different cleanroom standards:

1. Standard Antibacterial Powder Coated Galvanized Steel (Economy)

   0.9–1.0mm thick matte white/blue coated steel sheet, 50mm thick door leaf filled with high-density honeycomb paper or rock wool core (A1 fireproof optional). All edges fully folded & ground seamless flush surface, 45° chamfered vision window frame without protruding dust ledges, resistant to alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and chlorine disinfectant wiping.

2. Premium SUS304 Stainless Steel (Medical/Pharma High Standard)

   0.8–1.2mm brushed stainless steel door leaf & frame, fully welded and polished rounded corners, no paint peeling risk, suitable for hospital operating room corridors, vaccine high-frequency disinfection workshops; SUS316L upgrade available for corrosive vapor biotech labs.

2. Unequal Asymmetrical Split Layout Standard Sizing

Common net clear opening size: 1200×2100mm (900mm wide main leaf + 300mm narrow auxiliary leaf)

Other custom sizes: 1100/1300/1400mm total width, height 2100–2400mm customizable

• Main wide leaf: Equipped with handle lock, daily single-person regular passage, can be independently opened/closed

• Narrow auxiliary leaf: Equipped with hidden latch bolt, normally kept closed; only unlocked and opened together with main leaf for trolley, cart and large cargo transfer

• Frame clip design compatible with 50/75/100mm thick rockwool/MGO/PU cleanroom sandwich panel walls; expansion bolt mounting for concrete walls.

3. Full Hermetic Airtight Sealing System (GMP Mandatory)

1. Continuous D-type EPDM foam sealing strip fully wrapped around door leaf perimeter, aging-resistant, zero air bypass gaps

2. Automatic drop-down silicone bottom seal strip: Automatically drops 10–15mm when door fully closes, tightly fits uneven cleanroom floors to eliminate ground air leakage, maintains stable 5–15Pa cleanroom positive pressure gradient

3. Overlapping integrated astragal between main & auxiliary leaf, hidden seal inside the overlap gap, no exposed external gaps for dust accumulation.

4. Standard Sanitary Hardware Accessories

• Hinges: 3 sets SUS304 stainless steel heavy-duty silent hinges per door leaf, smooth rotation, anti-rust, long service life ≥100,000 open-close cycles

• Lock & Latch: SUS304 silent lever handle lock with two-side key cylinder on main leaf; hidden spring latch bolt on auxiliary leaf for temporary unlocking

• Door Closer: Concealed internal door closer (flush surface, no exposed hardware collecting dust) or external stainless steel adjustable door closer

• Flush Vision Window: Optional double-layer hollow tempered safety glass window, fully embedded flush with door leaf surface, no protruding edges for easy wiping disinfection.

1. Dual electronic interlock system: Matched with adjacent clean/dirty zone doors or air shower inner/outer doors, only one door can open at a time to block cross-contamination
