Deep Plate HEPA Filter, also called deep pleat separator HEPA filter, is a heavy-duty high-airflow terminal high-efficiency filter developed for large air volume central air handling units (AHU) and industrial cleanroom main air supply systems.Different from slim mini-plate HEPA filters for FFUs, it adopts thick deep-pleat structure (depth ≥150mm) with rigid corrugated aluminum foil separators to prop filter media evenly. This design multiplies effective filtration area, delivers much higher rated airflow and far stronger dust storage capacity, extending replacement cycles drastically. It acts as the final filtration stage before cleanroom laminar flow systems, widely used in V-bank filter racks, large HVAC equipment and high-particulate industrial purification projects.

• Frame Material Options:

  1. Aluminum alloy frame: Lightweight, anti-rust, standard for pharmaceutical & hospital AHU

  2. Galvanized steel frame: High structural rigidity, economical for electronics factory ventilation

  3. SUS304 stainless steel frame: Anti-corrosion for high-humidity disinfection workshops & chemical labs

• Flange Installation Styles:

  1. Single flange (outward flange): Insert into AHU filter slot from inside the cabinet

  2. Double flange (front & back flange): For deep filter rack double-sided clamping sealing

  3. Box integrated frame: Fully enclosed deep cabinet for V-bank filter bank assembly

2. Deep Pleat Media & Separator Core (Key Differentiator vs Mini Plate HEPA)

• Filter Media: Ultra-fine borosilicate micro glass fiber (water-repellent PTFE media optional for high humidity)

  • H13: ≥99.99% efficiency @ 0.3μm MPPS

  • H14: ≥99.995% efficiency @ 0.3μm (GMP mandatory grade)

• Separator: Corrugated aluminum foil spacer (core feature of deep plate HEPA)

  Hard metal spacers maintain uniform deep pleat spacing under massive airflow, avoid media collapse, support stable high-volume air circulation; heat-resistant, no melting or deformation at elevated working temperatures, superior to hot-melt plastic separators of mini-pleat filters.

• Sealing Craft: Two-component PU glue fully seals media packs and frame; EPDM foam gasket pre-installed on flange edge to eliminate bypass air leakage.

• Standard filter depth: 150mm / 200mm / 292mm (292mm matches universal V-bank filter rack size)

• Common dimensions: 610×610mm, 610×1220mm, 915×610mm, customizable to AHU rack size

• Rated airflow: 2000–5000 m³/h per standard unit, far higher than slim mini-plate HEPA filters of same outer footprint
