The HEPA Terminal Filter Box is a static terminal filtration housing designed to install at cleanroom ceiling ends, serving as the final air purification barrier of central air conditioning systems. Different from self-powered FFUs, this unit relies on central HVAC air supply to deliver fully filtered clean air into controlled environments, eliminating cross-contamination risks inside ventilation ducts and meeting strict ISO 14644 & EN1822 cleanroom standards.
Cabinet Housing
Standard material: Cold-rolled steel plate with electrostatic powder coating (anti-rust, easy disinfection); optional stainless steel 304 for high-humidity, corrosive or sterile workshops. Full internal welding construction avoids air leakage; internal static pressure chamber stabilizes airflow velocity and eliminates eddy currents.
HEPA Filter Module
Compatible with mini-pleat fiberglass HEPA filters of H13 / H14 grades:
H13: ≥99.99% filtration efficiency for 0.3μm particles
H14: ≥99.995% filtration efficiency for 0.3μm particles
Gel-seal or EPDM rubber sealing frames are optional to prevent bypass leakage; each filter passes independent PAO scanning leakage test before delivery.
Air Diffuser Plate
Perforated metal diffuser at the air outlet distributes laminar airflow evenly across the entire outlet surface, maintaining consistent indoor wind speed. Multiple grille styles available: perforated plate, 4-way louver, swirl diffuser.
Duct Connection & Test Ports
Two inlet types for flexible pipeline layout: top circular spigot or side rectangular air inlet. Standard built-in 1” BSP PAO smoke injection port and differential pressure sampling port for regular on-site filter leakage testing and pressure monitoring without disassembly.
Quick Locking Mechanism
Fast cam locks enable tool-free filter replacement, reducing maintenance downtime and avoiding secondary pollution during filter change.
