Scrub Sink

Surgical scrub sink (also named medical wash sink, hand washing scrub station) is a dedicated medical sanitation fixture installed at operating room entry, ICU, sterile lab and cosmetic surgery clinics. It provides independent hand & forearm pre-surgical washing space for medical staff before entering sterile clean zones. Fully constructed with hygienic stainless steel, zero sanitary dead corner design and touch-free water control prevent cross bacterial contamination, fully meeting hospital infection control, cleanroom and pharmaceutical GMP hygiene standards.

Main Material & Structural Craft

1. Stainless Steel Body

   Standard material: SUS304 medical grade stainless steel; SUS316L optional for heavy disinfection, high humidity and corrosive environment. Plate thickness: 1.0mm /1.2mm.

   Full argon arc seamless deep drawing welding, all internal & external corners fully rounded chamfered, no tiny gaps to trap blood, foam, disinfectant residue or bacteria. Matte wire drawing anti-fingerprint surface, resistant to alcohol, chlorine disinfectant, hydrogen peroxide for daily repeated wiping sterilization.

   • Single scrub sink: For small clinics, minor operating rooms

   • Double scrub sink: Most popular for standard hospital OR scrub stations

   • Triple / Quadruple bay sink: Large general hospital, multi-operation theatre complex

3. Touch-Free Water Control System (Core Sanitary Design)

   Three mainstream control types to choose, all hands-free to avoid secondary touch pollution:

• Foot pedal control: Mechanical pedal valve, stable performance, low maintenance cost, no power required;

• Knee operation valve: Side knee push valve, convenient for long forearm scrub;

• Infrared sensor automatic faucet: Battery/AC powered, instant water on/off, water-saving, modern cleanroom preferred.

4. Built-in Functional Accessories

• Recessed soap dispenser slot: Embedded liquid medical soap dispenser, avoid exposed external bottles;

• Surgical brush rack: Integrated slot for placing sterile hand scrub brushes;

• Overflow protection hole: Prevent water overflow during long-time scrubbing;

• Waste drainage assembly: Anti-clog deep P-trap sewer to block odor backflow;

• Optional mirror & overhead clean light: Mounted above sink for clear staff washing view.

5. Two Installation Modes

• Wall-mounted type: Hang on wall, empty space underneath for easy floor mopping, no dirt accumulation under sink;

• Floor standing type: Equipped with supporting stainless steel legs, independent unit for reconstruction projects without wall load bearing condition.
